Duval customers can choose from three ordering categories when reserving their next vehicles. Which is right for you depends on certain criteria such as current availability and your expected/desired time frame. Here’s a quick overview of your three options.
Incoming Inventory
At Duval Ford, we’re fortunate to have several outstanding new Ford models ready to test drive or take home, with even more on the way. If what you’re looking for isn’t currently in stock, its arrival may be just around the corner. By reserving from our incoming inventory, you’ll get the exclusive first opportunity to buy or lease the vehicle when it arrives. Just let us know your desired model, trim, or feature, and we’ll see if it’s included in an upcoming shipment. There’s no obligation to purchase, and your reservation deposit is fully refundable if you decide to go a different direction. Incoming vehicles offer the shortest delivery time frame of all vehicles not currently on our lot.
In-Production Inventory
In addition to our in-stock and imminent-arrival selection, we have many more models allocated to our Jacksonville Ford dealership by the manufacturer. These examples are not currently in transit to our location but will be in the near future. While in-transit models have already been produced and are currently headed our way, allocated vehicles are those in a queue waiting to be built. In general, the manufacturer makes details of these models available to us in advance. We may also be able to request a configuration adjustment to an allocated vehicle that hasn’t entered the assembly line. The delivery time frame for a vehicle that has yet to be built can range from a few months depending on circumstances like queue position, change requests, and supply chain availability.
Custom Ordering
A custom order is the best way to get exactly what you’re looking for if you don’t mind a longer wait. It allows you to specify your preferred configuration down to the minute details. In practicality, aside from the time frame, the process isn’t much different for the customer than ordering from our in-production allocation. And while a custom order is usually the slowest option, opportune circumstances can potentially allow for an accelerated delivery time frame.
