Standout Appearance Upgrades

The F-250 now has a new grille to give the truck an imposing look, along with new headlamps that tie the whole front end together. There's also more color options than before, bringing you a truck that continues to showcase its strength while updating its appearance for the modern age. You'll continue to be drawn in by the F-250, and with many different configurations as you can set the cabin and bed size, while still getting the standout capabilities and toughness you'd expect from the Ford F-250 and all the trucks here in our Jacksonville area showroom.

Capability and Performance

Speaking to the capability of the F-250, you're going to continue to find class-leading truck prowess. That includes towing capacity, which is up to 21,000 pounds when you use the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8, while it has a maximum payload of up to 4,332 pounds. No job is too big for the F-250, and it's thanks not only to the strong frame of the truck, but also to three different engines available for you to choose from.

They include:

  • A standard 6.2-liter gas-powered V8 engine with 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque for plenty of capability for daily drives and on the job site
  • You can opt for an all-new 7.3-liter V8 gas engine which adds more power and torque while providing a nice in-between option for those who don't want to step up to the diesel option
  • The 6.7-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine offers best-in-class 450 horsepower and up to 935 pound-feet of torque, making it plenty popular with people looking for a truck that can haul and tow heavy loads thanks to the wheel power this engine provides

Safety and Technology

With many different trims including upper level ones that add luxury to the F-250, you're going to find lots of quality features onboard. It includes the latest edition of SYNC® 3 and FordPass™ Connect which allow you to integrate your smartphone with the central touch display. There's compatibility with Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™ and Ford+Alexa technology as well as USB ports and an available Wi-Fi network with limited range outside the cabin for up to 10 devices to stay connected on the go.

As for safety, there's plenty of available features, highlighted by BLIS® with cross-traffic alert and trailer coverage monitoring blind spots in for your truck and trailer. You'll also find pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, trailer reverse guidance, and a 360-degree view camera. There's also Pro Trailer Backup Assist, which allows you to guide your trailering load in reverse using a knob inside the cabin.

What's New for the 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

In 2020, the Ford F-250 rolled into dealerships sporting a significant mid-cycle refresh, including restyled fascia, wider feature availability, and bold new colors like Velocity Blue and Rapid Red. But perhaps the most exciting update was the edition of an all-new 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine option and TorqShift ten-speed automatic transmission for the 7.3L and Power Stroke Turbo Diesel.

Ford keeps a good thing going for 2021, returning the F-250 to the market with a few minor changes to the lineup, and a new color that's sure to garner many fans.

  • Equipment Changes: F-250 XL models are now eligible for heated, power-adjustable trailer-tow/spotter mirrors via the Power Equipment Group. And XLT and Lariat can get all-weather floor mats as a standalone option.

  • New Colors: Three, to be precise, including Lithium Gray, Carbonized Gray, and our new favorite Antimatter Blue. The latter color is a rich shade of blue that appears to change from light to deep navy in different light angles, and looks almost black in lower light conditions.

  • Lariat Black Appearance Package: This package for the 4x4 Lariat Crew Cab adds a coat of Ebony Black to the 20-inch premium-painted alloy wheels, 6-inch angular running boards, fender vent surrounds, mirror caps, LED headlight surrounds, and front grille bars. It also includes a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner with black box bed tie-downs and body-color front and rear bumpers. It replaces last year's Sport Appearance Package.
